Professional Experience

Paul Matuszko, CIH, CIEC is an environmental health and industrial hygiene professional with more than twenty-five years of environmental health and safety experience. Mr. Matuszko is a board Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH), Certified Indoor Environmental Consultant (CIEC), and Occupational Health & Safety Technologist (OHST).  He has provided building owners and facility managers in the private and public sector with quality consulting services on hundreds of environmental investigations and remediation projects.  He has also completed hundreds of indoor air quality and industrial hygiene related health and safety assessments.  Mr. Matuszko has a thorough knowledge of OSHA, EPA and state regulations to assist clients in maintaining occupational health and safety compliance.

Mr. Matuszko has an extensive experience in building sciences relative to hazardous building materials (asbestos and lead paint), indoor air quality, mold and worker exposure assessments and abatement.  He has conducted hundreds of asbestos, indoor air quality and mold-related inspection and sampling projects, and has provided written assessments and recommendations. He has prepared remediation design specifications and work plans for asbestos and other hazardous building material remediation.  He also has experience in developing OSHA compliance programs, providing safety and health assessments, testing, and recommended response actions to resolve issues that arise in the workplace.

Mr. Matuszko’s previous experience as an environmental health & safety officer for two local universities has provided him with invaluable insight with facilities managers’ regulatory compliance needs.  Working directly with building managers in the project estimating, phasing and design process has provided him with the experience needed to provide clients with timely and cost-effective solutions.  Mr. Matuszko has consistently shown to be a valuable resource to facility managers in assessing and recommending solutions to worker safety and regulatory compliance issues.  Furthermore, he has conducted OSHA compliance awareness training with in-house facilities maintenance staff on numerous OSHA program topics.
